Fellowship with others who enjoy apologetics!
August 12, 2023, 10:00 am! We meet on the second Saturday every month, 10 am to noon, at Golden Technology, 7681 Tylers Place Blvd. West Chester, OH 45069.
Here's What to Expect!
Our Saturday fellowship meetings are two hours of focused discussion and warm, personal fellowship among people who share an interest in apologetics. We usually have a speaker, but never a lecturer. Talks are for the purpose of opening up interactive discussion.
Our Topic: Questions, and How to Answer
This week Cade Cover will lead us in a session like one we had earlier this year: Questions from skeptics, on video, as posed to apologists in Q&A sessions. We'll pause video and have our own discussions on "How would you answer that?"
Then we'll play the apologist's answer and talk about how he ... got it all wrong? Not likely! We'll talk about what made sense in his answer, and what makes sense in ours, and learn more of how to do this important work of answering questions. All very interactive as usual!
Who should come?
Anyone should come! Anyone with an interest in apologetics, including those who have many more questions than answers. We like questions here! Questions for learning, discovery, probing, even pushing back when it's for the purpose of better understanding, all that is very welcome.
We have members from multiple churches, and with apologetics experience ranging from apologetics beginner through published authors and conference speakers.
We love questions — the harder the better! So please come with your questions. Remember, though, please that we are a fellowship of believers and sincere questioners. We're there to probe and discover new things together. If your purpose instead is to have an adversarial-style debate, please use the contact form and we'll consider scheduling a public debate between one of our leaders and you.
We hope to see you there!
